FAQ's

How do we start?

Before beginning any new service we come to your home to meet both yourself and your pet/s. We discuss all your specific needs and requirements and compile all the information.

Will you still walk in bad weather?

Yes we still turn up but it is dependent on the severity, not in heavy rain, thunderstorms or extreme heat for their safety.

Do I need to supply anything?

Yes your dogs lead and harness and wet weather coat (if you have one).

What if there is an emergency?

At all times we carry emergency contact numbers. The action taken will be dependant on the circumstance and you will be notified immediately.

How many visits do you make?

We recommend two visits per 24hr period, simply for added comfort with morning and evening feeding depending on your routine. However we can arrange extra visits and longer visit times if necessary. Keeping in mind there would be extra charges.

Are my pets secure?

Whilst we take precautions to keep your dog secure, your dog will be wearing a Dog-Gone Walking & Minding ID Tag with our contact numbers clearly visible should they manage to escape.

How can I assist you with minding my pets?

Make sure your dog has a current registration and ID tags (microchipping if possible).
Maintain vaccinations.
If providing meals make sure to leave more than necessary just in case your holiday is extended.
Make us aware of security operations of your home.

I normally use a family member or friend. Why should I use your service?

While it can be common practice if problems arise, an accident happens or you are just not happy with their service it can be an uncomfortable situation and place undue pressure on the friendship. Furthermore not having insurance cover may create further problems.
